Good Samaritan Fellowship International Organization (GOSAFO) was born on April 12, 1980, as a result of a desire to intercede for a friend and a nation. It all started up when a group of concerned intercessors agreed to meet regularly for prayer needs for people and the nation (LIBERIA).

As time want on it was impressed upon my heart to reach out to children in difficult circumstances, and this brought the vision of GOSAFO. GOSAFO is a non – governmental and a Lutheran based non – profit humanitarian organization dedicated to cater to children in difficult circumstances.

The vision was officially launched on May 26, 1989 in Monrovia but the wanton destruction of lives  during the Liberian civil war, fanned by the fires of ethnic animosities resulted in the displacement of families, the upsurge if “street” children, orphans and abandoned children . This situation informed the purpose of GOSAFO on a wider scope to protect the rights of the child, social, economical, political and spiritual wellbeing.
